‘’Running used to be my escape from life, now I run because I love my life! It’s that simple.
I was a very competitive runner after my college years and it stayed that way until I was 30. Then from 30 to 34 I surrounded myself with the wrong people. I stopped running competitively and almost stopped running all together. I drank way too much alcohol and packed on the kgs. Now I no longer drink to escape from my reality because I love my new reality!
Meeting Morgan is hands down the best thing that has ever happened to me and I am so honoured to call her my fiancé. She reignited my passion for running and for life.
I run because I want to run. It makes me happy being out there but most of all it makes me happy that I can do it with someone who supports me in every way.‘’
