“If you thought you knew the couple that did eeeverything together, think again. The amount of time we spend together NOT running always leaves us surprised with how much we then still want to exercise together.
We compete at a high level and there is actually nothing better than being right there next to your significant other when they absolutely crush a workout or race! It is so rewarding riding the highs and lows so closely with someone you love – there have been many tears (mainly Morgan), laughter, anger, disappointment and joy – which makes it that much more special when they achieve great things.
We have not yet mastered the art of training at a high level simultaneously, and often we have turns about. My time in competitive running is coming to an end soon as Morgs and I want to start a family, so she has given me the green light to give it my all before I step into the role of house dad, and from there we will swap around and the world of running is all Morgan’s!”
