“I have always enjoyed running and playing rugby from a young age. Unfortunately during a rugby game in my teens I snapped my ACL and needed surgery. After a second surgery in my 30’s I really needed to take care of my knees as I didn’t want to stop my first passion of hunting.
Doctors suggested that keeping as fit as I could was actually best for it, so I started to take runs from the house in the mornings. This turned into doing some events and encouraging my family to do parkrun.
I am currently training for The Luxmore Grunt, so the running training won’t be stopping soon.”
