“My running journey started during the Level 4 lockdown last year. I do F45 but gyms were shut, so running was an easy option of keeping fit.
Running a marathon was always on my bucket list, and the more consistent I was with training, the more of a reality it was becoming. Joining the Frontrunner New Plymouth run group and getting tips off the experienced runners there really made a big difference to my training too. Then in September last year I ran the Rotorua Marathon and did a sub 4 hr – and I’ve just never looked back. Looking forward to my next one in May.”
