Massive thanks to the Fiordland Outdoors Water Taxi team (in particular Hannah and Skipper Sam who are also runners!) for helping us organise this epic mini-adventure for the Te Anau Run Club (TARC)
Every Monday, in every possible weather, Run Club meet at the Te Anau Lakefront for Group Run. All runners are welcome. It’s super fun and social, and the crew (an absolute good bunch of local legends and tourists), come together to run/jog 5 to 10km on an out and back trail.
This Monday would be different though….
Everyone that showed up for Run Club this week, got loaded onto the waiting Fiordland Outdoors Water Taxi. Starting their run with a free shuttle across the lake, Group Run today was kicking off from Brod Bay on the Kepler Track! It’s a perfect 10km from there to the Kepler Control Gates, and then back around to town via the Lake2Lake Trail.
27 runners, 2 boat trips, and an enormous thanks to the legends at Fiordland Outdoors. Definitely a 2025 Run Club Highlight!!
